The primary fermentation of this Pezsgő (Hungarian sparkling wine made using methode traditionelle) was in stainless steel, the secondary fermentation in the bottle.
This Pezsgő opens with fresh, fruit (pear) and yeast aromas. It cannot deny its Tokaji birth in the mouth as it is more flavourful and mineral than classic sparkling wines.
Intensive crisp acidity. Mainly fruit-driven, complemented by notes from its time on the lees.
The residual sugar makes it rounded, but the acidity and minerality are what linger in the mouth for the finish. Fresh, citrusy aftertaste.
