World Heritage Wine Museum
A cornerstone of the Tokaj Cultural Quarter, the former Serház was converted into the World Heritage Wine Museum to bring the history of World Heritage wine regions, their culture and of course their wines closer to visitors. Alongside the Tokaji Wine Region there are “tasters” of the uniqueness of the terroirs of Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Switzerland.In
The Tokaj Museum is located in two buildings in the heart of Tokaj. The museums complement each other perfectly with their two differing styles of exhibition. While the World Heritage Wine Museum employs 21st-century equipment to invite visitors to active participation, the Tokaj Museum offers a traditional atmosphere in which to walk around and loose yourself in the exhibits. Those interested in the history of the town – and indeed of the wine region – are sure of a pleasant way to spend time, guaranteed with rich experiences.
